What Are the Different Types of Codes and How Do They Work?

Transponder Codes
The name implies that transponders transmit an encoded signal containing an eight-digit number code whenever it is interrogated by air traffic control. This signal, referred to as SQUAWK Code SQUAWK Code is used to locate aircraft on radar screens. It can also be used to relay specific messages to the air traffic control system in the event of an emergency or to alert controllers of changing weather conditions. Squawk codes can be used to communicate with ATC when the pilot is not able to communicate via radio. They are essential to ensure safe flying.
Every aircraft has a transponder that responds to radar probes with an identifier code. This enables ATC to locate the aircraft on a busy radar screen. PIN codes

A PIN code is a sequence of numbers (usually between four and six digits) that are used to access a device or system or service. For example, a smart phone has a PIN code that the user enters when they first buy the device. They must enter it each time they wish to use it. PIN codes are also used to protect ATM or transactions at POS, [1 secure access control (doors computers, doors, cars),[2] computer systems,[3and internet transactions.
While a longer PIN number might seem more secure, there are ways to hack or guess a PIN code that is as short as four digits. To provide greater security, it is recommended that PINs are at least 6 digits in length and include both letters and numbers. Some OEMs also require PIN codes for aftermarket key programmer to ensure security to stop unauthorised persons from stealing data from modules.
VIN Numbers
